about

This was the first track recorded for this album, and the one most truly inspired by the 'Ullulator sound'. It was the obvious choice to present our good and galant friend Hanuman.

In representing the 'overview' of all energetic aspects of life on earth that our soul observes, we have chosen our dear friend "hanuman' - So completely 'god mad' that he speaks only the names of the hindu gods, as he perceives every moment of life before him to be a facet of one or other god or goddess in action- to represent this 'overview'.

Joie and I had truly honored pleasure to sit with this little Saddhu, hour after Hour in Hampi, India, and watch and listen to him as he jesticulated and spoke, keenly and clearly pointing out the actions of each Hindu god, as he saw it, in every moment before his eyes.

The jungle sounds were recorded in a remote part of south eastern Sri Lanka that has only recently been opened to the public due to fighting. It was an amazing moment just before dusk, we stopped on the road to watch a family of wild elephants grazing in a pond... and the sounds were incredible... so out came the trusty recorder and I sat there, with my 9 yr old daughter, mesmerised, for a good 30 minuts... this is the sound track you hear now..
